Al-Misbaah’s Rebranding
Making it easy for the community to find what they need
Al-Misbaah is composed of five distinct departments, each tailored to serve a specific target community. Together, they aim to foster an inclusive environment that welcomes individuals from all walks of life, ensuring that everyone can find a space where they feel a sense of belonging.
Brothers Guidance - Boys ages 16+
Sisters Guidance - Girls ages 16+
Maktab - Schooling for students K-12
Charitable Aid - Donations for those in need
Junior Lanterns - Children ages 11-16
Each department is assigned a unique color, visually distinguishing it as its own entity. This allows individuals seeking events from a specific department to quickly identify them, minimizing any potential confusion or barriers to attendance.
Meet Misbaah!
As part of my work with Al-Misbaah, I spearheaded an initiative to design a mascot that would serve as the face of the organization, uniting its five distinct departments and their diverse target communities under one cohesive and engaging identity.
Creating a mascot is an innovative initiative to enhance engagement and establish a strong, relatable identity for Al-Misbaah. A well-designed mascot can serve as a friendly and approachable symbol that resonates with the diverse communities served by the organization.
Under the creative direction of Al-Misbaah's Chief Marketing Officer, Farrukh Ershad, where we collaborated closely on all visual and branding initiatives. With his strategic guidance, I led the design execution across the board crafting everything from flyers, banners, and merchandise to PowerPoint presentations and social media assets. While Farrukh provided the overarching vision, I took ownership of translating those ideas into visually compelling designs that captured the essence of Al-Misbaah’s mission and resonated with its diverse audiences.
Together, we built a cohesive and impactful visual identity for the organization.
